Turistic bus scheme (0.8 MB)

El Prat (BCN) airport is about 17 km south-west of the Barcelona city centre. From the airport you can get to the city by bus, train or taxi.

• Aerobus
  It runs every 5 min. and connects the airport and the Plaça de Catalunya (centre of Barcelona). The travel time is about 35 mins. There are 2 lines:
  • A1 (light blue) from the Terminal 1 (T1)
  • A2 (dark blue) from the Terminal 2 (T2).

• Bus Line 46 (PL. ESPANYA / AEROPORT BCN)

  It runs every 25-35 min. and connects the airport and Plaça Espanya in the Barcelona. The travel time is about 50 min. Ticket is 1,40 Euros can be bought on the bus.

• Train

  Local train line of RENFE Rodalies/Cercanias is the cheap way to get from BCN airport to Barcelona. 'Aeroport' terminus is within 10 minutes walk from Terminal 2 (T2) through a pedestrian walkway.

  The fare one-way is 3 Euros (at the machines in the station with cash/credit cards)

  Trains run every 30 minutes, travel time is 25 minutes.

  The train stops in Barcelona:

  • Barcelona Sants Estacio - the main railway station.
  • Passeig de Gracia – smaller and more central station, just 10-15 min. walk from Plaça Catalunya. Best transfer to Gothic Quarter, Las Ramblas, Born and Barceloneta.
  • Estació de França (Francia) - best stop for walking to Born and Barceloneta
